I used to make countless vision boards that never got me what I wanted. In 2022, while leading a Bias Reduction workshop, I had a major breakthrough: It’s not about what you see, but who you have to be. That insight led to the creation of The Identity Board, The Identity Ball, and The Identity Board Workbook.

A big part of my identity is being part of a local Hong Kong family and a fluent Cantonese speaker. Since 2017, I’ve been teaching Cantonese on YouTube and have come to realize I’m not just helping students learn the language, but also forge new identities as they become closer to their Cantonese-speaking friends, family, and partners.
